Besides the annoyance, which is understandable, have there been any documented engine failures or damage that required repair or replacement?

everycar ive owned has had some sort of noise especially during cold starts. i guess im used to it. my gmc sounds a lot better than my wifes 99' plymouth. at work i drive a ford, dont get me started on that piece of crap...and its a '02.

All I know is my truck is fine....no knock. I couldn't remember if I had seen anyone on this board with it, or not.

I'm glad that we don't have a ton of threads on the knock like some other places. Maybe I shouldn't have posted it. Sorry............. :stupid: :blush:
