RADIO AMP DRAW?

Hi,

 

Does anyone know how many amps a stock am/fm radio draws? I'm have an old car radio that I want to use in my office but, the ac/dc that I made adaptor isn't giving it enough power, it only has enough for the clock display to light up. Any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

You should be able to run the whole thing on a couple of amps at the most.

Any wall type power supply that puts out 12 to 14 VDC at 2 Amps should carry you fine.
