Here we go again

about 8 months ago I took my truck to the stealer to get my parking break adjusted (which they apparently cannot do)....anyway while there, they found fluid leaking ouf the the rear passenger hub....turns out it was a busted seal. So they replaced it under warrenty...long story short I was rotating my tires yesterday, and I have fluid leaking out of the same spot. It's leaking all over the disc of the brakes, so it's nice to know I'm driving on 3 brakes instead of 4. I have an extended warrenty, so I know it'll be covered (atleast it was before). My question is......what the hell could be causing this? I know they'll try to blame my tires....but why they hell does it keep happening, anyone one else have this problem?

thanks

Usually if a seal leaks repeatedly, you've got worn axle bearings as well.

After the second wheel seal we replace the axle bearing. If another seal goes we start looking at replacing the axle itself. (Not very common at all.)

As far as the parking brake, it is very much adjustable, and if your dealer doesn't know how to do it, you probably should find another dealer.

Hope this helps.

Thanks GMCTech. I have since moved from the dealer that couldn't adjust my P-brake so I am gonna ask again since it's already gonna be there. LMAO...If they have to replace an axle...I sure am gonna be glad I paid for that extended warrenty.
