Code P0455

I took my truck in to get a moonroof installed and when I got it back the engine light was on. This is exactly how it read on the scanner:

 

P0455- EVAP Emission control system leak (large)

 

What does this mean?

 

On a side note, I did just purchase and install a locking gas cap. Could this be the culprit?

I had the same problem and I thought it was the factory gas cap so I replaced it. It didn't fix the problem. Then they thought it was a sensor (I can't remember the name of it) located right under the hood on the top of the engine. They replaced it and it didn't fix the problem. Finally they took off the gas tank and it was a broken wire that was telling the computer i had an emission leak.

But the first train of thought was to replace the gas cap, so do that first then try the other stuff. I apologize for not having any specific names of any of these parts. I hope this helps you though.
