:D

Just a note on my Westers experience. I decided to send in my pcm & have my original returned since I didn't need the truck for awhile, & I was also interested in saving $100.00 over the normal price. The only bummer is that it took a full week to make it to Alberta using express mail. I chatted with Westers about what I wanted, and also asked if they could turn it around quickly as I hadn't anticipated the shipping taking so long. They got it out the next day after they received it, and ups coming back was only two days, (go figure). Anyway, it fired right up, smooth idle, no dash lights at all. I asked for a modest power increase & better mileage. Definetly has more power and shifts better with no pinging on 87 octane. Will post mileage stats after I get a couple hundred miles on it. Thumbs up to Westers on a job welldone.

Specifically - which tune did you get?

I didn't really specify a specific tune in my letter to Westers, although I would guess it is an 87-91 octane dual tune. I explained what I wanted out of the tune, modest power & mileage increases, and not to jeopardize the reliability whatsoever. So far I notice the power, not mind boggling but definetly noticible, and will check mileage after the truck has more of a chance to adjust to the reflash.
