Rear Bumber replacements

Recommended Posts

Well among other things I am looking into I want to get a replacement rear bumper for my truck. I am looking at something that is heavier than the factory tin one. A friend of mine backed into something going quite slow, and I was supprised how easliy it was bent, so I would like to replace mine before I do the same thing. I would like it to work with the factory hitch, and aux. backup lights built in. Anybody know of something that will work and does not look bad...

It is sad because I can remember when trucks came with "real" bumpers too and not the light weight metal and plastic units they use now.

Ranch Hand makes one with integrated back up lights. I'm wanting to say it's in the $300 range give or take a little.

I put a Roughneck on the back of the '02 HD and it's a good bumper though it has no backup lights. Works with the factory hitch but the problem I have is that the powder coating is crap. I'll be removing it soon to have it spray lined to match the front replacement.
