I loved this thing, but miles were getting high, fuel costs etc. I sold it.

 

I now have a 2002 Lincoln LS Loaded V8 with 22,000 miles

 

I think I miss the Tahoe already, will certantly miss this board...

good luck with the lincoln. i had a similar experience back in january. sold a '68 C-10 pickup and had to leave another forum. Luckily, when I bought my '03 silvy, I found this one. I love this forum. Maybe you'll find yourself a good home

Thanks guys! Im sure I will still frequent here! Well i miss it already LoL..But I LOVE the power that lincoln has, just gets up and goes!

 

Just a matter of what you get used to I think (so I tell myself!)

 

It was a GREAT truck, reliable, no 'real major' problems and it will go for another 100k I know!! But I also know things will start to go at the 110k mark I was at... and well my payment didnt even change..so kind of a no brainer!

does the lincoln have the sport shifter? My uncle got an silver 02 LS and initially loved that car, but that feeling wore off and he's looking for a compact truck (probably a nissan or toyota since he has his wife drive a mitsubisi suv thing...).

Say it isn't so! If you're like me, you'll be back in an SUV in about a year. A few years ago i traded my SUV for a car and I went mad. The doctor said I needed two SUV's to make up for the damage I did to my health.
