I'm fairly new to the forums, but has anyone tried Liquid Glass on their vehicles. A friend of mine swears by it, says after 4 coats only have to apply once a year. His truck still beads and sheets water after 6mos like the day he applied it.

Yes it is excellent. IMHO. Been using Liquid Glass for 12 years. All my vehicles are outside 24/7 and the finish couldn't be better protected. 2 things about it that you should know. 1st is to keep the wax aplicator damp, IE water, beer, whatever is handy. 2nd The first application is the hardest especially on dark color finishes like green. Seems there is a residue on the finish from the dealership or factory that needs to be cleaned off and the wax will streak it a little. But keeping the wax aplicator damp helps reduce the problem.

After the first coat give it a 1/2 day and put on the second. Then like your buddy says "once a year" after that has been fine for me. I allways hit the bug and tar areas twice. Never have to use bug and tar remover when washing the vehicle.

If you work out the first coat I know you'll be pleased when you see how easy the second and anual coats go on.
