I bet it will raise the option price "spec" a good bit too.

i see 3 levels of LT now......guess they will take more stuff away from standard equipment and make you option it out depending on the level.

Here's some good stuff

 

The range selection mode looks pretty interesting. Looks like they finally have a auto that can be programmed (by the driver) to give us the control of the stick shifts.

This is the way I enterpret it. Correct me if I am wrong. Instead of using the column-shifter to hold gears, you now shift it to "M" and use the +/- buttons for the same process.

 

Current 5 speed

Move the column to "1"= holds first

Move the column to "2"= holds second

Move the column to "3"= holds third

Press the OD cancelation button = holds fourth

Move the column to "D"= holds fifth

 

New 6 speed

Use the "M" and the +/- buttons to do the same thing

 

I know the current tranny already has grade braking and cruise braking for the diesels, so it sounds like the new tranny is alot the same, except for the extra overdrive gear.
