305/70/17

I want to add some 305's on my truck but don't want to lift

6" is this possible. I am not big on the idea of cranking the torsion

bars. Also can I run these tires with out to big of a performance loss

with my stock 4:10's or should I just go with the 285's thing to ponder

I wouldn't mind running that size tire on my Sierra as well - I don't mind cranking the bars, I just don't think I'm ready for a body lift or anything.

my buddy has 305s on his 02 HD and all he has done was crank the bars 4 turns. It looks good.

HD's have alot more space than my 1/2ton. I would think you would have to crank the tbar to the max on my truck. What do you guy's think about the performance side?
