Another Auto Light Disable Switch

OK, so I've read all about the Auto light disable switch at R&D Truck for ?.00... Seems alittle HIGH to me... So I decide after reading from other people and decide to try the resistor trick.. I sart out by trying to SEE the light sensor after pulling out the radio.. This does not look easy to get to.. So I pull out the A/C vent right by the radio and what do you know... The wires for the sensor... I splice into it.. add about 3 feet of wire for routing and add a switch right beside the light controls.. Which in my opinion is where it should be.. not way over on the other side ... Works GREAT... there is a few second time delay in switching modes but for FREE.. ok not FREE.. .79 for the resistor and a 1.50 for the switch.. NOT ?.00..
