Auto dimming mirrors

I have a 2005 Silverado ext cab Z71. The interior mirror dims when someone comes up behind me. However the driver side mirror does not.

Do vehicles actually have just the interior mirror dim??? My Tahoe both mirrors dimmed.

If your mirrors are the power heated with turn signals then they should dim too, if they are just the power mirrors then they won't dim

I agree with BB,

I have a 05 Zer and my mirrors are pwr only and no dimming feature.

On my '04 Silverado, I have Power /Heated Mirrors and only the Drivers Mirror dims.....is that right???, no dimming on the Passenger Mirror???

Yes,If you have the power heated-power fold w/turn signal mirrors only the drivers side dims,not the passenger side.

As was said earlier if you have the power heated mirrors only (No pwr.fold or turn signal) neither dim.

Yes, you are right, I forgot to say that it is only the drivers side that dims with the inside mirror.

My truck has the auto dimming power folding, turn signal mirrors and I love them. I constantly get high beamed by other motorists due to my trucks height and HID's but thanks to the autodimmer mirrors I could careless if they highbeam me after I pass Awsome feature GM, Thanks!
