Is there a code to tell if I have the aux trans cooler ? 2001 Z71 5.3....cant see through the grill good to tell because of the ranchhand grilleguard that i had sprayed with line-x....thanks

I have an '05 so it may be different...but...

 

If you look down where the hood latch is you can see infront of the AC condenser/radiator. My trans cooler is connected to a bracket that is attached to the bottom of the hood latch. The cooler is approximately 2-4 inches in front (suspended) in front of the AC condenser/radiator. It is not hard to tell if you know were to look.

I'm pretty sure the RPO Code is KNP for the auxillary trans cooler.
