Tahoe rear end on silverado

Has anyone ever done it themselves or seen a tahoe rear end set up on a silverado? I had my mind thinking of a crew cab street truck running on something like that, would help the ride out alot on that long truck.

Are you talking about the suspension?

 

It would be easier to just drop 800 lbs in the bed...because that's probably how much more a Tahoe's a$$ weighs...That would smooth the ride out a bit

He's talking about the coil link rear suspension like the NBS Tahoes and 1/2 ton burbs/Avys have.

Check out the prototype SS truck. The regular cab one, it had coil rear suspension.

Thats exactly what I'm talking about. Now has anyone seen one other than that SS reg cab that was posted over a month ago?

 

I understand the wieght difference but can't that be changed by just changing the type of spring used on the truck?
