1 1/2 Ton....no problem

Picked up some Stone for my walkway, they asked about delivery 'cause "its about 1 1/2 Ton"......I said "Drop it in the bed of my Truck" ('04 Silverado 2500HD), the truck took it without a problem, only dropped 4 inches....rode great also.......Love my Truck.

My EC/SB with the 8.1 and Allison weighs 6400lbs. That leaves me with 2800lbs of payload with the 9200lb GVWR.

Just last week I hauled a 3,700lb transformer in the bed and pulled a 22' trailer with 160 joints of 3" conduit.

The truck did great, but the trailer jack did scrape pavement a few times.

I haul 500 gallons of water 3 times a week never have a problem, just levels the truck out.

Dude, it is right here and here. 3900 sq feet of it to be exact. Got to have topsoil before you can lay sod in the desert genius.

I've had over 3000lbs in the F250 and the overload springs still weren't touching the rear spring bumpers. Still about 1.5" to go until they hit:

I think this came to 3700lbs when I weighed it at the quarry. It's a load of 12" limestone rock plus snowblower. I agree with Larry, the ratings on new trucks are rated low. The listed payload for my truck is 2700lbs and that weight barely drops the rear of this truck.
