compare your experiences with TNR vs. INR

I want to know if it's worth the extra money to get the touchscreen version. (I have an '03 Silverado EC with Bose, non-lux, no changer.

What are y'all's experiences with these things as far as user interface goes? What are some pros and cons of each type (price aside)?

Thanks...

TNR is about twice as much as INR on Ebay, but vastly better, larger screen, easy to scan the map. But $500 makes the INR a better value IMO, especially if money is important.

I love the touchscreen i have. I havent used an INR to compare but I like being able to touch the map and move around versus using the "joystick". The presets on the radio are also touch.

One possible negative towards the TNR--no one really knows how durable the touchscreen interface is; I mean, all that pressing will eventually take its toll on the touchscreen itself...thus possibly causing some "dead" touch spots. Having said that, I'd still take a TNR over an INR any day!
