New Denali has strange noise in driveline.

I bought a 2005 Yukon Denali (short bus) 2 months ago. Almost immediately, I noticed a weird noise coming from the drive line when foot is on the gas and keeping a constant speed. Especially noticeable at 35 - 55 mph. This only occurs when foot is on the gas. As soon as I let off the gas, it goes away.

I took it to dealer, took serve manager for a ride, he confirmed that he heard the sound. To me the sound sounds like a busted wheel bearing... I can "hear" that the sound is a rotating or spinning sound. Serve Advisor said he spoke to "GM Tech line", and that they were aware of the noise, but that it it normal and acceptable to GM, and poses no future threat of parts failure.

I don't buy their story. Any advice?

Thanks.

The Denali shares the AWD system of the Silverado SS(or vica versa). My SS had some odd growling noises, mostly when I was turning at slow speeds. It gradually got louder at higher speeds. I changed the front diff fluid at about 25k, there was ALOT of metal on the magnetic plug. I contacted the Service advisor and he said it was normal. I changed it again 3k miles later and there was more metal and the growling persisted. I took it to the Dealer and insisted they do something. They found bad bearings in the diff and replaced them.
