Frame Rust

Has anyone had trouble with the frame rustproofing peeling off and rusting underneath? I took it to the dealer and the service dept. said I need to pressure wash it and apply a rustproofer to it. Sounds like bullstuff to me. I'd hate to think I crawled under that thing with a garden hose for the last two years for nothing. It's still under warranty. Any service dept. people out there with an opinion?

Unless you had the vehicle specifically rustproofed and undercoated when you bought it then what you are seeing is normal as new vehicles do not come from the factory rustproofed and undercoated.. If it was done by an aftermarket company, other than the dealer then you should take the truck back to them. Most dealers don't do the rustproofing and undercaoting themselves, they will send it out to someone else to be done. Also, rustproofing and undercoating are two different processes.
