hoorders Posted July 3, 2005 Posted July 3, 2005 Hi everyone, went to replace a bulb in my front running lights the other day and noticed that none of my front running lights are working. All the signals work and my rear running lights are fine. I checked all the obvious fuses and they seem fine. Is there some other fuse or relay or something I can check? Just seems odd that my tail lights are wroking and not my front running lights. Thanks very much.
99silveradoz71 Posted July 4, 2005 Posted July 4, 2005 If you are referring to the drl's on the truck, remember that they will not work with the truck in park. Wasn't sure if you meant them or the parking lights. Also, if you could let us know what year and model truck you've got. Thanks.

Its the front parking lights that wont work. There are two on each side. One on the the extreme outside corner of the lights (it takes a tiny bulb and is also the signal light) and the other light right next to it(also a signal). The signal works on both sides.
asepgrad98 Posted July 4, 2005 Posted July 4, 2005 i am going to make a internet guess diagnosis: corrosion on the socket
hoorders Posted July 5, 2005 Author Posted July 5, 2005 i am going to make a internet guess diagnosis: corrosion on the socket <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well I know one socket is bad..............that was why I was changing a bulb in the first place and noticed that none of the parking lights were working. Could one bad socket cause all 4 running lights (2 on each side) to not work?? Whats odd is that the same bulbs are also the blinkers and all the blinkers are fine.
