Got home from work and the box, from Jessi, was there. Real busy but had to see what was up. Took my laptop with my scanning software out to the garage with the new PCM. Figured I would have a SEL or security light or something. Changed PCMs. Truck started right up. No codes. Only had time for a short (5mi) ride but here are my observations:

I never knew how rough my idle was it is now real smooth.

TM is gone I now control my throttle.

Slight knock at WOT about 4000RPM

Oil life is tied to PCM. Original PCM oil life at 85% new DIC reads 32%.

I was in closed loop but none of the test are complete so I guess it is like a new PCM with no passed memory stored. Have to get some cycles on it before inspection.

My fuel trims are real close to 0 old PCM was running much richer.

Very happy. $160 Best bang for the buck (plus I now have an extra PCM)

This is a heavy work truck. I didn't order a performance tune.

I ordered:

TM removal 100%.

e fan turned on to operate like factory 05s (Jessie also sent the pigtails)

speedo changed for 265 tires

max lowend torque (I don't ever go fast)

max fuel economy using 87 gas. (I go though about 40 gal a week)

I will know more after a week of work and some trailer pulling.

I'm glad to hear your results on your tune. I can't wait to get mine in here in the next couple days. Glad to hear you like it so far though. Everyone seems to be satisfied with Jesse's tunes.

Did you email or call Jesse? I figure he is pretty busy. I emailed him a few days ago and haven't got a response yet. I guess I will give him a week then call.

I called (the number is on his website) because I had so many questions. He answered his own phone and was very patient and informative.

I emailed him and he sent me back a price and his number and told me to call. It took him a few days to reply to the email, I figure he is pretty busy right now.

Cuz, unlike me, who digs around for a the right size box, not too big, do my thing and pay $14, Jesse uses the free boxes at the PO... the ones with guaranteed $7.70 shipping for any weight....

Can someone post a link to his site it sounds like his tunes are just as good if not better then all the other ones that are over twice the price!I would like to see if he is making them for the ho 5.3 for the 05's and what the price would be if i didnt send in a core pcm because i still want to keep the stock one, thanks for any info.
