Envoy DVD Problem

I just purchased a 2005 Envoy with the Rear DVD player. The video is great as well as the sound through the Bose speaker system. But the headphones have poor sound quality. They buzz and have a tremendous amount of static. I changed the batteries thinking that they might be bad, but they were not better with new ones. I read the manual and they say you may have buzzing with cell phones or cell phone towers while travelling. I've turned off our cell phones, and even tried them in the garage and there was no improvement. Any ideas, or do we just need new headphones. I'm taking alot of heat from the kids, as my wife and I finally relented in buying a vehicle with a DVD system and now they can't use it as they wanted. Thanks for any help or suggestions.

I can't tell you what's wrong, but you shouldn't have lots of noise and static. It's under warranty, take it in and let them check it out.
