is it me or are the shocks on my 05 2500hd too light duty? when pulling my 32ft camper, and hit a bump/dip the shocks seem to work great on the downstroke but it is almost as if there is nothing on the upstroke. anybody else notice this?

Yep, the stockers are junk. Get some Bilsteins or Rancho 9000's. Those are the two most recommended. :chevy:

I just purchased mine at Shockwarehouse.com

Free shipping and they had them in stock.

I bought the Bilstein 5100 series, all four for $260

I got the rear bilsteins at shockwharehouse. The front shocks (for a lifted front, not stock), at the time, were on serious backorder, so I had to do some deep searching. I finally found a set at National tire and wheel.

For all four at stock length, shockwharehouse is a good choice.

Which shocks did you get for the front? Part Number?

I cranked my front end up about 1.25" w/ the tosion bars, now the shocks need to be replaced.
