K2500 Avalanche Delivery Dates??

Recommended Posts

Currently awaiting a ordered K2500 Avalanche up here in Canada.  Has anyone heard when we will be seeing them at dealerships??

My dealer has no idea, and GM Canada Customer Service spent a week looking into it and came back with a helpfull 'can't find any information other than they are being or will be produced'.

Anyone heard anything better??

Thanks

Didn't know they were doing a K2500 Avalanche...

Wish Zane was here to confirm/deny this rumor, he has the connections to find out.

Have you seen any documentation of such a thing?

Yes, one is coming, I just don't know when.  I received a information kit from Chevy (including a 1/64 scale Av) and it had information on the 2500 and the North Face addition.  I asked my dealer and he did not have dates, but the North Face version is already available ( I have seen 2).

Hey 76BBSub

Yes there is one comming.  Info is on both the Canadian and US Chevrolet sites, if your after details.  In brief it will be 8.1 ltr, and when equipped with 4.10's, will have a 12k lb tow rating.  I have one on order, but no one can tell me when I may see it.......

And I can be darn impatient, so this is driving me nuts!!

How'd you get a 1/64th scale model? Sure would like one. What color AV did you order. I can't decide on white or Silver. Definately like the Graphite Leather. I sure wish the cladding would come color matched. I'm going to wait a bit to see if the General makes and changes before signing up!

The matchbox type scale model was sent out to some people in the US that had registerered for info on the Avalanche.  If you are really interested in one, I have seen a few on Ebay for under ?.00.

I am going K2500, Light Pewter, nuetral interior.  The white is nice, but the Light Pewter (as my Suburban is) hides the dirt and dings really well, and I have better things to do than constantly wash my truck!! ;-)
