Delray Posted July 30, 2005 Posted July 30, 2005 I have a noise sounds like sheet metal rubbing together in the front, high pitched squeek! The tech at the dealer said its the shocks. Also the rear spring bushings were making noise.would silcon be alright to spray on the rear bushings? Steve
GM-Tech Posted July 30, 2005 Posted July 30, 2005 Silicone spray won't hurt, but I doubt it would last long. Never heard any rear bushings make noise though. But yeah, we do have some problems with the front shocks, top mount, not being properly centered in the hole, causing a squeaking noise. I think there's even a TSB on it.
