my98z71 Posted August 17, 2005 Posted August 17, 2005 OK- I can't afford a porter cable buffer that runs for about $114 on amazon and am looking at the craftsman random orbital 10" buffer. Is 10" too large? Do I need to get somethin smaller like 6 or 8" or can I do a good job with this 10" buffer. I am not a professional, I just want to get something for my personal use. Also, does anyone know where you can buy the 303 protectant? Thanks
djrizzle Posted August 17, 2005 Posted August 17, 2005 Don't waist your money on the craftsman- I bought a millwakee buffer that works great- all you use is the first and 2nd speeds or you'll take the paint off. You might pay more for it but it's worth the money.
