Which fuel pump?

I have a 2000 Sierra 1500 4x4 extcab with 5.3 A4, I'm trying to find the right in tank fuel pump for it but I keep coming up with 3 different ones for my truck MU1089, MU1005, and MU1333 .Looking at the RPO codes in my glove box non of codes correspond with the RPO's I have found . Upon further research , I have seen reference to a code on the wiring harness , but what harness and where ? If at the pump that would mean pulling the bed or dropping the tank There has to be a better way to figure this out

I don't know what those numbers are. They're sure not GM part numbers, but I'm not a parts guy, so who knows, maybe they're AC Delco numbers.

 

The best way to get the right part is to take your VIN to a GM dealership and they'll look up the part based on the VIN.

They are indeed Ac delco numbers, I am trying like hell not to go to a dealer around here. The last one I went to would not give me the info unless I bought the part from them . He said that with the prices on the net being so low , it cuts the dealers profit too much for him to give the info and or time .

Do you know of any on line resorces that I could punch in my vin and find the info ? This is a comon thing with these trucks, you would think this would be easy to find this info .

Based on the VIN you gave me, the GM part # is 25345026 and the AC Delco number is MU1089.

Would you mind sharing were you purchased your AC Delco fuel pump and for how much.

Stevieray36 , I got my pump on ebay . Seller was jobberonline . The guy was great to deal with , I bought mine last night , and got email today he already sent it out ups and gave me track #. Pump is new won the bid for $112 with ship.
