TSB & Recalls

Hey everyone,

Getting ready to finally take the truck in but now its out of the 36,000 mile warranty and now in the extended warranty part of it til 90,000 miles with a 200 deductible.

Are the TSB's and Recalls covered by manufacture even when vehicle is out of the regular warranty?????

I've got a loose shaft problem and I know that is a TSB

Recalls are covered, TSB's are not.

You could grease your shaft yourself for a lot less than 200.  :driving:

Can you advise how I do that????? I may just do that and will that take care of the problem.

Step by step please.

What kind of grease?

Not many people know this, but your dealer can take this (Document ID# 1649130) TSB, and the service manager CAN authorized warranty repair to REPLACE the steering shaft up to 4 years and 50,000 miles. If he says he cant, call GM directly...TRUST ME..they dont want people mad about this...
