Horn Question

One of my horns (the lower one) has gone out. I am the type of guy that enjoys the loudest horn on the block. The louder, the better.

 

So, i had a question. Anyone know of a OEM hookup horn, thats loud as well? I could wire it myself, but i'd rather just keep it OEM connection, and hidden too. Dont want big horns hanging out everywhere. Something small, but LOUD.

just go to the local auto parts store and get an electric horn, then you can get to the stock horn by removing the battery, or from underneath.

 

I don't think you can get around re-wiring it, just the way it is.... but it's not hard to hook up, just two wires.

I actually located the passenger side horn...or what isnt there.

 

There's actually a factory cap over the connector, and its clipped to the side. They actually would delete dual horns? How much would GM save? $15?

 

So i figure i'll just add your base electric horn to the other side...the lower note.

Or get a 100 watt speaker & siren with air horn function! I did that, wired to the horn ring and never looked back!
