95 Jimmy parts question

Will be working on a 95 Jimmy next week with a broken driver side power mirror. two of the three bolts holding it on (the plastic actually borke) broke in a car wash. Can I swap out the base of the manual mirror with the base of the power mirror? I found a couple manual mirrors at the local junk yard, but don't want to buy them if they won't inter change. Also how difficult would it be to swap out those bases? Just trying to save this guys a few bucks... One last thing- the 95 is only inter changeable up to 97 right?

from what i know base manual mirror for the jimmy is just about the same with the power mirror. but you can call your dealership if you can actually fit the base in your truck. there are actually base pics for the manual and power mirrors, check em out. they may also come in handy if you purchase one.
