Brake pad replacement

Hi,

 

Can anyone tell me what size torx bit (I assume that it is a torx) I need to change the front brake pads on my 2000 GMC (NBS)?

I believe it is an 18mm socket. At least it is on my 01 Hoe.

Go with ceramic pads. I just installed a set of Bendix ceramic pads on my Screw. So far they seem to work great.

I run the full Praise Dyno rotor and ceramic pad setup and I love the improved braking and low dust..

 

Prior to discovering Praise for my truck, the following were my favorites for low dust.

 

Raybestos Ceramic, Wagner Thermocool Ceramics are my favorites.

 

I put Napa ceramics on my wife's Town&Country and they are nice and quiet with NO dust.

 

Hawks offer a little better performance but dust quite a bit in my experience.
