Fuel problems

My wife's truck is a 2004 GMC Yukon. The check engine light brought us to the dealer where we bought the truck. They informed us we had purchased bad fuel. The back 2 injectors and fuel pump were replaced. Injector service performed and fuel system flush. All for a tune of $1600. 30 days have passed and the porblem is back. Is there anything in the fuel system that could be causing this? Could a hose or seal be breaking down and getting into the fuel? The truck only has 10,000 miles on it. I cannot afford another trip on this. Any ideas?

I've had the same problem on my '99. The second time I pulled out the two plugged injectors and banged them upside down on a white piece of paper and a clump of fine black gritty powder came out. I put them back in and it has run fine for 3 months.

Update on this issue. Number 7 injector was completely clogged. They replaced this injector. Basically they did not get all the dirt out on the first try. Be aware there is not a servicable filter on 2005 and up Yukons. At least that is what the dealership told me. They said there is a screen in the fuel pump. I can tell you this screen doesn't work very well. On the first trip I saw the numbers 7 and 8 injectors. I tapped both of them out on the techs work bench. There is no longer a return line to the tank on this truck. GM says the motor tilts back at an angle and all the dirt and debris will settle in the back 2 injectors. I think many people will see this issue in the future.
