'98 Yukon, 350 vortec, 3.42 gears and 265/16s. If I'm gentle with it I get about 15.3 mpg. If I just get in and drive more like 13 to 14.

Truck has 142,000+ miles now though, so I guess I'm doing alright considering I have never touch tranny, any major engine components, injectors, O2 sensors, nothing. Just been changing filters, adding gas and oil and going.

Honestly don't see how some of you guys are approaching 20 miles per gallon with a 350.

Show/tell me how I'd like to be getting that.

My 1997 ECSB was 2WD which probably helps. While I owned it I added dual exhaust w/ Flowmaster Super 40s, K&N filter, Bosch 2s, Taylor wires, and VR velocity stack. Other than better sound none of them made a difference in mileage. I bought it w/ 192,000 miles on it and the day after I bought it until I sold it the check engine light was on w/ code P0440 which is low effecency cat.
