Who's on first? What's on 4.1?

Can someone point me to a resource OR tell me the differences in the NAV DVD version upgrades?

 

Is it programing?

Is it Mapping?

Is it graphic?

 

I will assume mapping has improved over each version. That is a given. I am confident more roads and accuracy of the roads will be upgraded on each disc.

 

But what else has been improved per each version? Has anyone documented this?

I'm not of much help here, but where did you find this info about the 4.1 Nav disc? My TNR came w/3.0, and I'm very interested in upgrading if possible...especially if they fixed the "poorly assigned street names" issue.

 

My best guess would be that new versions have updated software AND updated maps.

The 4.1 version is definaletly out there. Exactly what the upgrade is....is anybody's guess...looks like there is no documentation available.

Hi I played with a friends 4.1 disc today I have been using a 3.0 so I got to see what the difference was in my area, mostly more detail, colors added for topographical areas like lakes parks ect, changes in business names some new some out of business, mostly names for small roads that were on the 3.0 disc but not named, some routes changed for programmed destinations.

Are you saying that there are now more street names on the screen at any given time? This is the issue that's been driving me completely nuts about by 3.0 nav.... whenever I'm trying to just look at the screen and figure out what street is coming up it never seems to label them. Are you saying this is fixed with 4.1? If so I need to get one right away! Thanks for any info!
