I know its an old throttle body 1990 350 4x4.

But its a work truck with 230 thousand on it.

At take off only it shakes. Like not getting enough fuel.

I changed the filter no luck.

Could it be timing? Throttle body rebuild?

This thing still runs great. I like having the new d max jus sitting in the garage.

So any help would help thanks

I know I'm not a GM tech, but this is a problem I recently faught with myself. In my case it was at take off and then again at certain RPMs.

Check spark plugs, wires and distributor. Have you ever changed the distributor? Mine was original at 185k so I wouldn't be surprised if yours was as well. Thats the best thing I'd try. Try cleaning your throttle body as well.
