Hate to do it but I gotta sell the 2500HD.

Aside from the usual places - Ebay & the For Sale board, do you guys know any other places I should try? Seems the market is a little dry right now... :D

Moo,

I've always done about any way I can. Tell all of your friends, make e-mail contacts, advertise in Truck Trader and advertise in your local newspaper. Heck, even put up an add, with tear-off strips bearing your phone #, at your local convenience stores and restraunts. Also, be sure to place a legible sign in your truck's window(s) and tell all about it in the ad (I also supply take-home sheets)

My results have been the following. Sold two trucks right out of my driveway. I've never had a single "hit" out of Truck Trader, even though I bought the biggest ad and did it up right. I sold one rig, a 1998 Suburban, out of our local newspaper about one minute after it hit the streets (actually, it was on the newspaper's internet link and the contact was off the internet). And I've sold two trucks and one trailer during garage sales.

Actually, the garage sale thing is great. I draws hundreds, if not thousands, of people and the exposure is fabulous. My last garage sale truck was a 2002 Avalanche. It was almost a year old and I simply couldn't stand it....couldn't see to the rear or rear/right. I asked $28,000 and the first guy who looked at it bought it, with absolutely NO haggling.

My advice would be very simple......HUSTLE. Make lots of noise, sell it everywhere, and someone will find it.

Good luck,

Steve
