Well, I finally did it!  Here are the photos of my AV Z66.  Complete with splash guards, air dam and gold lugnuts.

Nice, I like the red painted "Avalanche" on the cladding.  How did you do it?  I think one of our members will be interested in that.

I jusst went down to Walmart's and bought a 'paint pen' from the craft section.  Cleaned the 'AVALANCHE" with alcohol really well and painted it.  There's a narrow rim around the letters and it flows right in.  Also the same for the lettering under the hood.

Oh, make sure it's enamel paint, not waterbased.  Don't ya know!

Cool, that's what I thought, but wasn't sure if you did it another way.  I've done the same under the hood on mine, but I used a Testors paint pen from the model car section.

Great looking Ave.  That red lettering really does stand out on the white truck.

I like it. I remember the concept Avalanche had what looked like Chrome lettering. That would look pretty cool.
