Factory wheel size

Hi fellas,  I'm awfull new here but I love this board you got.  Even though its arlready driving my wife nuts(Thanks to the last board I frequented I found may ways to shovel lots of cash in to my 300zx)

 

  Anyhow, I cant seem to find out if my wheels are 16/6.5 or 16/7.  These are the factory chrome steel 8 lug wheels for the 99 2500 silverado.  I ask only cuz I just saw some on ebay advertised as 7" wide, I thought they were 6.5"

Look in your glove box and see if you have option code PY0.  If so, they are 16 x 6.5 .

Also, you could crawl under the truck and look at the inside of the wheel (but that would be more work   ).  I know my aluminium wheels on my 1/2 ton has the size stamped on the inside, don't know if the steel ones do or not.

I think all the wheels on the Silverados are 16x6.5.  I don't think it matters if they are steel or Aluminum or 6or8 lug wheels.

Mine are PF9, 16 x 7.  

 

PF4 and PF9 are Cast Aluminum - 16 X 7.0

I guess I'm wrong...  Thanks Tom.  Maybe the Steel wheels are 6.5 and the Aluminum ones are 7".  That kinda makes me want to climb under my truck and look now, because I have the 8 bolt wheels.  I scoured all my info in my desk and couldn't find any references...

I'm not positive, but I think only the aluminium wheels are 16 x 7.

the 1500 aluminum wheels are 16x7

 

the 2500 aluminum wheels are 16x6.5

 

My spare tire (steel) has on the inside part stamped into the metal 16x6.5
