problem in gear selector ?

hi all i just replased my radiator of my 2001 8.1 cc. allison because of leaking but after installing the new one i notes some problems

 

1- the trans temp gauge stop working and its only on zero .

2- the gear selector on the dashboard is not thear only the letters and number

and the miles of my truck is working .

3- after cool down and start againe service engien light is on .

 

so does any on have any idea on what is happing in my truck ?

The transmission computer is mounted on the fan shroud. Maybe it's not plugged in or there's some wire damage.

so can i disconnect the computer plugs and reconnect them again and do i have to disconnect the battry + terminal or not .

 

and i notes today when i drive it on the road and reash 50mph speed and after allison trans. shift to 3rd or 4th and give it more gas it shift down one gear and rise the rpm and after backing up the gas it shift to the next gear .

Disconnect the negative cable to prevent accidental shorts. It sounds to me like the transmission is running in limp home mode. Which means in abscence of PCM instructions it reverts to a basic operation mode. It will work but not well.

i solve the problem i went to the dealer to to run the scan diy on my truck and it sayes that the ( TCM ) is failed to test so i went back home and dicconnect the TCM plugs and found out that 2 of the pins was out of the plug and i juct but them back together and every thing back to normal . thanks all for the help
