I have a 2005 Chevy Silverado 2500hd and I was curious if anyone would know if the Weld Evo Velociti would fit without using a lift kit and if so what tire size to use. Want to get a lift kit in the future but would like to get the wheel/tire now.

  Has anyone had any luck swapping a Leer or equivalent shell between the current gen GMC/Chevy HDs? Hopefully specific to the standard 6'9" bed. I had an Overland Vehicle Systems shell on my 1500 AT4 and I know those fit the Sierra and Silverado, with or without the Multi-Pro tailgate. That said, I think the Leer shells are made to fit all the way over the bed caps as opposed to on them with some room to spare like OVS. Some 1500 owners reported some change in coverage over the rear tail lights..but that's 1500 specific.
