New yoke installed!

I just picked my truck up yesterday from the dealership.  They installed the new & improved nickle plated yoke.  So far, so good.  I noticed that when the tranny shifts it feels alot "tighter".  I musta stopped about 5 times in my driveway and just took off because it is now quiet...yippeee!  Now lets hope it stays this way.  I'll let you guys know if it acts up again with the new yoke.

Thanx for the update - I know I'm not the only one here hoping to hear good news long-term.  Mine just started making noise again - I may try the blue "smurf" fluid change first as the dang thing is now off warranty!!

i went to the dealer last week. i was told they are no longer doing the nickel yokes, that they are waiting on a different fix. what gives? check with 3 different GM shops you get 3 different replies?!  anyway im glad to see your happy. i am pulling my hair out! i cant stand the sqauwk noise anymore. i love my truck, but im going insane!
