Transmission or throttle body

I have a 2005 GMC. When I back out of my driveway and put the truck in drive I don't even have to push the gas and it will start to go forward. Then if I let it keep on going down the road it picks up enough speed to shift into 2nd buy that time I have to put on the brake to turn. Only have 6000 miles dealer has already done the transmission cluck upgrade any other ideas. Thanks

No ideas in particular. The vehicle has an electronically controlled throttle which has many checks/balances and redundant sensors. They don't want that thing opening up on it's own or failing to operate properly. Any sensed problem and it immediately goes into reduced power mode.

What's the temperature like where you're at? When first started in colder temps, it's going to idle considerably higher than when warmed up. Though you weren't clear on this, it sounds like this is in the morning when you first back out? Is it better after it's warmed up?

I want the "cluck" upgrade :banghead:

*Vrooooom - Cluck - Vrooooom - Cluck*

That would rock.
