Does anyone renew their GM Roadside Asst ? I just got a notice in the mail to renew mine and just wondering if anyone does renew. Mines gonna end up in the shredder I do believe.

I use USAA's roadside service as part my insurance, and it has been awesome.

I have roadside asst. with my auto insurance (GMAC) so I don't need GM's.

never used gms but it would be a thing to try to see if its worth anythin u never know it could be great but i dout it

I have AAA with the gold option. They'll tow it anywhere I request within something like 100 miles (maybe its 50). Since my parents live 45 minutes to the East, and my g/f's parents live 45 minutes to the West, I can pretty much guarantee I'll get it towed home.

 

That said, I'm curious how they would tow my Sierra. Seems like its pretty heavy for a standard tow truck. Anyone had their F/S truck towed? What did they use?

Yeah I had mine towed and they just used one of those medium sized trucks.

I even had mine flatbedded once on 3500 GM chassis flatbed truck, but that was a 97 EC

SB GMC. It weighed a lot less than my current truck.
