On The Danger Ranger, I'm having slight problems with the gears.

 

It's a tempermental Gear-clashing.

 

25% of the time the gears go in just fine, but the rest of the time I find myself wrestling with the shifter. Sometimes the gears grind, sometimes I have to a hell of a grip on the lever and "punch" it into gear. This is at it's worst when I'm stopped going into 1st or Reverse, or starting out, and attempting to go from 1st to 2nd. 3rd through 5th (or Overdrive- I still call it 5th) is a cake-walk.

 

Any Ideas on what I'm dealing with? Low on Gear-oil? Clutch going bad?
