I'm leaning more towards the GMC HD, even though I have a chevy. I still can't adjust to the look of the chevy's front. I hid mine with a front end replacement.

Obviously i voted for the GMC, but i have always favored the GMC's over the Chevy's even though they are a little more $$ for ALMOST the same truck

 

The NBS Chevy just looks too strange to me.

Another chevy guy, but I like the front clip of the sierra better. Flat across the top of the bumper. Like the round fog lights on the GMC's. Like everyone else, I don't really like the NBS of Chevrolets...

 

BTW, What is the real difference between the two?(other than the logos)

03's and up, I like the GMC. Older than that, I like Chevys better.

I sort of agree with you concerning the chrome nose of the GMC, however I don't really like the look of the Chevy front either. The answer for me, was the GMC Work Truck with the Gray nose. IMO, it's the best of both worlds.

From a dead-on front look, I like the Chebbies. Any other angle, the GMC has my vote. The nose on the Chevy's just looks too long and it doesn't match the rest of the truck.

I like the GMC but I am partial. I have owned '85, '93, '99, '03, '05 GMC's. Guess I'm brand lyal, eh ?

That is my opinion too. I looked specifically for a 01 or 02 3/4 ton silverado. Any other year I would have went with the sierra. Ended up with my 01.

I like the look of the chevy now. Didn't much when I bought it(but then again I don't get to drive it) Any way the GMC is a much cleaner looking truck. For an off roader that big front bumper sucks. At least on the chevy I can take off 1/4of the bumper (airdam/foglights) I had to trim the air dam a bit after the lift, that woulda sucked if we had a gmc.

 

In my mind I will buy the cheapest best truck wether it's a chevy or GMC. It's not like their that different. Come off the same line together.

I like the looks of a bowtie on the front instead of 3 letters of the alphabet. The crome trim on GMC's looks better, but I also kinda prefer the look of the chevy nose. In the end I would own either one, just depends on what kind of deal I can get.

 

I've owned both. (kinda makes my name on this side look a little stupid saying GMC when I now own a chevy ) Oh well

 

I guess my complaint would be on the inside, and it pertains to both. There is a whole lotta monotone plastic covering everything. Would be nice if they could have spiced it up a little more with some kind of trim or different colors.

I like the Chev front end better - it looks much more aggressive....especially when that big bow-tie appears in your rear view mirror.

I have always been a Chevy Guy (except for those years on the darkside). I finally came back to Chevy. I like the styling of the Chevy better than the GMC because to me the GMC looks too refined. That make any sense to anyone out there? Well anyway. I like the big ass Bow Tie in the front. It looks meaner and beefier.
