Transmission noise

I have a vibration in my 04 Z71 and it seems to be coming from the tranny. At low rpm and when its cold is the worst. You can feel the cab vibrate if its real cold. When it warms up its not as bad. There seems to be a spot at a certain speed when it vibrates after you get passed that point its ok.Any ideas on the problem ?

Check this thread. I had a somewhat similar problem in my '04 recently. Although my problem occured when the drive-train was warm so it may not be the same. Turned out it was the transfer case (NV246, RPO NP8) clutch pack.

Mine does it alittle when it warms up. There seems to be a certain low speed or rpm that it does it everytime.
