Brake vibration

1999 Oldsmobile Bravada. Right before you come to a stop...around 3 mph the brake starts vibrating like crazy. It still stops but it feels weird. I replaced the front discs yesterday and it is still doing it. Had somebody put a wheel bearing on 3 days ago also which may be when the problem started. Could it be anything with the ABS? Anyone had this before?

If it's the steering wheel shaking from side to side you have a serious issue.

Check:

1. The overall bearing installation.

2. If the front hub assembly was installed & tightened properly.

3. If the lug nuts are properly secured.

 

If the brakes are pulsing through the pedal the rotors might not be properly aligned, or they were warped by the lug nuts being overtightened.

Well, I unhooked the abs fuse and it stopped doing it. So I believe it was a faulty wheel bearing that we just had installed. Thanks for the help.-
