Poping noise in front end

I have a 2005 GMC Sierra Z71. I hear a poping noise in the front end when I turn. The dealer said it was a factory defect....something with a tie bar???? They said they've replace tons of them but the problem seams to come back.

 

Has anyone else experienced this?

I own a 2004 Sierra Z71, and I do not have any front end noises. Your dealer should not give you any diificulty in getting this repaired; especially when the fixed tons of them before. "Tie-Bar"???

I own a 2004 Sierra Z71, and I do not have any front end noises. Your dealer should not give you any diificulty in getting this repaired; especially when the fixed tons of them before. "Tie-Bar"???

I agree that I shouldn't get any flack about repairing it. I had another poping noise a month ago, it was farther back that the front end. You felt it aroung the pedals. The fixed it claimg that the body of the truck was shifting when I turned.

 

The fix was apparantly some shims the installed between the body and the frame.

 

That noise has gone away, but now I have the front end noise. It's very annoying.
