Console?????

I've got a 2002 2500HD..........can I remove the center and bolt in a folding center console w/ the little storage inside it?? What's involved? Do they also have them like that and is still a place to sit?

Yes Chevy still has 'em like that. My 02 2500HD is the fold up/down storage seat. The bolt in shouldn't be to hard, the seat should have the bracket attached when you but it. The only other thing I can think of is the plastic piece below your A/C controls. On console trucks it is the front part of the console, but on mine, it has 3 plugs for cigarette lighters/ac power adapters, and a "console delete" plate that covers the hole in the dash and makes it flat. But, there is one more thing. If you have rear A/C coming out of your console, the air box might be different and that could be another thing you have to take into consideration.
