Shaners
I know the manual says it's not necessary, but are you guys running any Cetane in the cold weather? My buddy has an '05 powerestroke, and his manual says NO, but the dealer says yes as long as it's Motorcraft. No aftermarket stuff...
drdiesel
Not any more than the fuel already has. I just throw in some fuel additive. I'm a little confused though, why would you want to add any more cetane to the fuel during the cold months?
Shaners
The F*rd dealer said it would help cold starting and and would increase cold weather performance... My Dmax manual says not to add anything... My buddies F*rd manual says not to add anything, but his dealer says to add this Cetane/Motorcraft addative.
