Panic Button Wiring

I'm in the process of installing a DEI Valet 561t, which uses the factory remote of my 2005 Silverado to start the vehicle. This happens by splicing into either the lock or unlock wire of my truck to activate the remote start. I know how to hook the remote starter up using the lock button, but I'd like to disable the functionality of the panic button, use it as the remote starter button, and maintain the functions of the "alarm" system (horns honking, lights flashing, etc.). Is this possible? Does anyone have a wiring diagram related to the panic button? Please let me know if you've done this or if you can provide any additonal help. Thanks in advance.
